Privacy, plainly.

Norrwild is run by Alexander Boltersdorf, Triq Ir-Ratal 23, Flat 7, SWQ 2315 Swieqi, Malta (hello@norrwild.com) — the data controller for everything described here. The short version: we collect what's needed to run the shop and, only if you allow marketing, to understand whether our Meta advertising works.

What we collect, and why

When you order: your name, shipping address, email, and the items you bought. This runs through Shopify (our checkout) and is shared with Printful (our print and shipping partner) — without it, nothing can be printed or delivered. Payment details go directly to the payment provider; we never see your card number. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.

When you join the list: your email address, stored with Klaviyo, used to send the emails you signed up for. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw with the unsubscribe link in any email — every one has it.

When you write to us: your email and whatever you tell us, kept as long as needed to help you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you properly.

Analytics and optional advertising

Our basic website analytics remain cookieless. GoatCounter and our hosting providers' aggregate statistics (Cloudflare and Vercel) show us which pages are read without creating an advertising profile.

Meta advertising — only with your consent: if you choose “Allow”, the Meta Pixel loads on this website and records page views, product views, additions to the cart and the start of checkout. Shopify's Meta integration reports checkout and purchase events through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API. The information can include the page and event, Shopify product identifiers, order value, browser and device information, IP address, Meta cookie identifiers and, during checkout, contact information protected by hashing for matching. Meta uses this information to measure our advertising, attribute orders and help deliver ads to people more likely to be interested in Norrwild. Legal basis: your consent. Nothing from the Meta Pixel loads before you consent.

You can change or withdraw that choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future Meta tracking on this website and removes Norrwild's Meta cookies from your browser. The shop works normally if you decline. We do not sell your personal data.

Who receives your data

The services that make the shop work are Shopify (checkout and order management), Printful (printing and shipping — they receive your name and address to deliver your order), Klaviyo (email, only if you subscribed), and our hosting providers (Vercel and Cloudflare). If you consent to marketing, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and its group companies also receive the advertising-event data described above. Each provider processes data under its own data-protection commitments. Some process data outside the EU under EU-approved safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Order data: as long as tax and accounting law requires us to. Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe. Emails to us: until the conversation is resolved and a reasonable time after.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, restrict or object to processing, and take your data elsewhere. Write to hello@norrwild.com and it will be handled directly. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in Malta, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt).

Cookies

The shop uses technically necessary storage for the cart, checkout and your consent choice. If you allow marketing, Meta may additionally set cookies such as _fbp and _fbc to measure and attribute advertising. These optional cookies are not set by Norrwild's website before consent. You can reopen “Cookie settings” in the footer whenever you want to change your choice.
