The Norrwild original

One Candle.

Not a game, exactly. One candle, a handful of questions, no winner. You light it when the evening slows down — phones away, and you talk until someone blows it out. Pick the set that fits your table and print it; it lives in the drawer, next to the candles.

How it goes

  • Light the candle. Phones away. Pick the set that fits your table.
  • Take turns reading a question aloud. Answer, or pass — no one is pressed, no one is cross-examined.
  • Work down the list at your own pace; the lighter questions come first.
  • When someone is ready to end the evening, they call the last question — always the same one.
  • Everyone answers, and you blow the candle out together. What was said by the candle stays by the candle.
  • Tomorrow night, light it again and carry on where you left off.

The last question, alwaysWhat's one small thing that made today better?
